White Daffodils Still Life 2026 Original Acrylic and oil pastel on paper 41.5cm x 59.2cm in a 50cm x 70cm frame Framed This original still life of white daffodils was painted during a period of grief, serving as a reflection on finding light and life in difficult moments. The daffodils were initially painted from observation, then abstractly evolved through experimentation and play. They capture the feeling that from the grey can come light, using soft whites and yellows alongside deep, expressive tones. Layers of acrylic and oil pastel build texture across the paper, with loose, gestural marks allowing the flowers to move beyond a literal representation.

In memory of my uncle Justin (‘Jubby’), forever a true character. Frame Purchasing framed - the painting will arrive mounted in a 50cm x 70cm natural wooden frame with glass front.
