Alex creates luxury live portrait illustrations of guests attending special events such as weddings, brand launches and private parties. Each illustration is hand painted using a mix of watercolour and pen, which is then gifted in a
bio-degradable film sleeve, for guests to safely take home.
Alex will start by interacting with your guests, taking photos, and then work from the images so that guests can continue enjoying the event. Each illustration takes an average of 10 minutes, depending on the style, level of detail and number of people in the painting.
This is a unique and personal service, creating quality, take-home gifts for guests and VIP’s to remember the day.
Alex can also create larger, bespoke paintings using a mix of media during a live event including abstracts, landscapes and fashion illustration.

Live Event FAQ
How much do you charge for your live event guest illustrations? Packages start from £650 for 4 hours. Every event and wedding is different, your quote will include illustration time, travel, materials and accommodation (if needed). Please contact Alex with your event date, estimated number of guests/timings and event location. Alex will then provide live painting packages for you. How many illustrations can you do within one hour? As an average, Alex can create five illustrations in one hour which would be a minimum of ten guests. This is based on two people per illustration; however, you can have multiple people in one illustration for groups and families. What materials do you use? Alex starts by sketching the figures in pencil and will then work into the illustration using watercolour and pen. What is the process on my event/wedding day? Alex will attend your event/wedding day and set up on a small table where requested. She will arrive thirty minutes prior to the agreed start time, so to set up and start inviting guests to have their photograph taken on her camera for the illustration reference. Alex will then draw whilst referencing the photo, so that the guests can continue to enjoy their day without needing to stand for the drawing. The drawings will then be available to collect at the end of the event in a bio-degradable film sleeve and guests can watch her create the illustrations throughout the event. Do you travel outside of London/the UK for events and weddings? Yes, Alex will travel for your wedding and event. The cost of travel and accommodation (if applicable) will be added to your quote. If a journey time is 3+ hours one way on public transport, accommodation will be required. Can I have a different style or size for the illustrations? Yes, Alex is always open to new ideas and loves to tailor your illustrations to your preferences. Please mention this to Alex when you contact her regarding a quote. Do you have a minimum/maximum hire time? The minimum hire time for a wedding/event is 4 hours. This is so it gives Alex enough time to capture a reasonable number of guests. Maximum hire time is 6 hours. If you would like Alex for longer, please discuss with her. What happens if you do not finish all of the illustrations on the day? If for whatever reason Alex does not finish the promised number of illustrations at your event, she will finish those needed at her home studio and post them at no additional charge to your address. I would like each of my guests to have an illustration. Is that possible? When inquiring, it is best to let Alex know how many guests you are expecting to have at your wedding/event. Alex can only physically create a certain number of illustrations within the allocated time, which means that depending on numbers, it would be a first come first served experience, but she will give you a confirmed figure for your day. Many guests opt for ‘couple’ portraits or family portraits, so a majority of guests will always be covered. How do I book you for my event/wedding day?
