The Plastic Free July Exhibition was organised by Ellipse Design Studio in collaboration with Blackhorse Mills and Legal and General.
They collected plastic waste from residents at Blackhorse Mills and visually showcased the volume collected. The purpose of the project was to encourage the public to use less plastic during July (and after) to consider how they could extend the life of plastic already used.

The aim was to divert as much plastic as possible from landfill during July by turning the plastic collected into new products and artwork.

Ellipse reached out and asked me to be involved in the project, alongside a lineup of other conscious artists and brands. My role was to create a piece of artwork which incorporated some of the collected public plastic, which was then hung as part of the exhibition.

Exhibition live: 29th July - 14th August 2022
